Additive Addition Unit
The Additive Addition Unit (AAU) is a compact base loader, that injects additives into the FCC accurately and reliably. This base loader can be filled from a flow bin or from a vacuum hopper. The flow bins are placed on top of the base loader for filling and are removed when empty. With the vacuum hopper, materials are vacuumed into it by making use of big bags or by making use of flow bins. This arrangement makes additive handling convenient, minimizes space requirements and enables the refiner to optimize muliple additive programs. The AAU can be extended to enable simultaneously dosing up to six different additives from a single AAU.
The AAU is fully assembled in the warehouse and tested before delivery. The AAU can operate as a stand-alone unit with a PLC control system and/or through the DCS control system.
The AAU is designed to operate in any hazardous zone.
